Career History

President/CEO, Future Tech Systems, Inc., 1985 - 2016

Future Tech was established in 1985 with the vision of building a Computer Aided Design Environment that could eventually support all types of enterprise information. Initially a consulting firm, we subsequently incorporated in 1987, as Future Tech Systems, Inc.

We began by supporting the design and analysis of software systems. However, we soon recognized that we could evolve and extend our repository to visually model, analyze, and manage literally any other vital assets and/or business information we desired. As a result of these various activities our Envision® VIP Repository has significantly evolved over a long period of time and based on the numerous enterprise level modeling activities we have been involved with. Our highly adaptable business object-oriented meta-modeling system now resides in the SQL Server ecosystem and supports a wide variety of distributed projects with outstanding performance, security, and user-friendliness.

Manager, Software Engineering Technology, Boeing Computer Services, 1976 - 1984

Coordinated technology development and dissemination throughout the federal systems division. Served as liaison between division and other corporate organizations involved with advanced technology. Pioneered the development of the first CASE tools and concepts under government contract. Led ARGUS project, aimed at creating an advanced computer-aided software engineering environment.

Program Manager, Automated Verification Systems, McDonnell-Douglas Astronautics Corporation, 1968-1976

Responsible for design, implementation, testing, validation, and verification of military, space, and commercial software systems. Projects included Army sponsored Software Automated Verification System Study and NASA sponsored study to develop a methodology for producing reliable software. Spent several years in systems support for large scale mainframe computers.
